PODSTARS IS

Podstars is a 6-week module that operates with Australian School Children which teaches them the art of audio and how to create their very own podcast. From ideation to production and then release. Either privately in a closed platform or publicly with the right guardian's permission.

Young teens who are high mobile users with social media, music-based apps and On-Demand content are adapting to podcasting as a new media. All major media companies have invested significantly in creating a podcast strategy.

Podstars is designed with young adults in mind. It fosters student collaboration, engages students to be creative and think critically, it also promotes independence and confidence and deepens their understanding of media and new technologies.

How Podstars Works

How Podstars Works

We work closely with educators to shape the student journey into podcasts. All of the participating schools so far have found immense value in working our Podstars program into their curriculum. This was worked across Media arts, Humanities and Social Science and English. We can create modules between 3- 6 weeks, each module is an hour long and can include inside and outside of classroom activity.
